Monnierara Millenium almost in bloom... what kind of fertalizer?
 

Hello! My name is Graham and my Monnierara Millenium "witch craft" is almost ready to bloom. I was curious as to what mix of fertilizer i should be feeding it. I have been feeding it a 20-20-20 mix up until now and wondering if i should switch to a bloom booster or anything of the sorts. Thank you and any info or tips you may have, I will be very greatful!

If it's almost ready to bloom, changing the fertilizer will make no difference. The plant has already produced the buds and will no be affected by any nutrient changes, changing the fertilizer is done in the run up to flowering. I don't change my fertilizer type and have successful plants blooming. I believe a healthy plant is the key to good blooms.

Keep in mind, if the plant is matured and heading into dormancy, you want to eliminate all fertilization until water is resumed after it breaks dormancy.

it still has all of its leaves but one. should it go into dormancy once they drop? or sooner?

Personally, I stopped ferting the ones that are fully matured a couple of weeks ago.

And for all but the babies that won't have a dormant phase, I am already in a reduced water schedule. Most are now being allowed to dry a little bit between watering.

Same here. Stop fertilization and Reduce watering when leaves start yellowing. Less photosynthesis = less need for water

Some spike really early in the growth cycle so my fert and water schedule is based purely on the maturity and what the leaves are doing...not on spikes.
