Say Hello to my complete lack of self control, a new NOID Phal Hybrid from Kroger. The Just Add Ice tag has printed on it "Grown by GCG Oberlin, OH 44074"

It is a beauty. It reminds me of the Chocolate Drop hybrid I wanted for my birthday that my husband could not obtain, so for this price, why not?:blushing:

Only a complete lack of self-control right now. I'm trying to get mine arranged into a new space further from my sliding glass door before the cold hits. Otherwise when I let the dogs out in the winter, the poor orchids will be in wind tunnel zone. :snow:

Too bad that spot has good light, but my husband is building me a new table to move them to a better spot temperature wise with decent light, but it isn't ready, so the existing plants are still in the danger zone and I bring in a new one. ;)

Though the new one is living in the kitchen window until quarantine is over, which has too small of a sill for anything not a miniature. It is living next to my Pinguicula gigantea hybrid. A good place if it brought me some bugs.:lol:

I have a huge want list for when the new table is ready though. :pencil:

That makes sense. I just ordered two new passiflora, a musa, a guava and a 'night-blooming jasmine' and thought that I exercised great self-control (love those plants....). :)

It's gorgeous! I'd have a hard time resisting those colors, too.

LOVE the color. I need that one. lol. I have control, simply for the fact my husband buys my orchids. I was in Aldi a while back and saw one that was a pale yellow/greenish. I wanted it, but did not buy. I told my husband about it instead. That didn't do me any good. THEN....a recent visit to my husbands work partners house reviled an orchid of a light yellow with a pink mouth. One I don't have. His partner claimed he said I had enough. I got a good chuckle since I know she never tells the whole story. Hubby doesn't remember what all my orchids look like. I did tell him that I needed that one. So we will see if I get it. The point to this message, I need to try harder to lose control and buy the ones I know I need. LOL
