Water Culture what do you think?
 

I have been growing many of my plants in Semi hydro set ups. It has been going really well. I just divided my Miltonia and thought lets put one in water.

have you tried this? Does it work? Is it just crazy?

There are a number of people who have tried with great success. As always though it may completely depend on your orchid as well as your environment. I just started a new phalenopsis in a full water culture and I am crossing my fingers that it will do well. There is a great group on Facebook that is devoted to orchids in water that is very helpful.
