National Capital Orchid Show
 

Today I attended my first orchid show and enjoyed every minute. It was a rainy, ugly day so not a huge crowd. Tomorrow and Monday should be better weather for others but I had the best time. I took several pictures of gorgeous blooms and spent the majority of my time with Cordelia Head of J&L orchids. She is an absolute peach! She helped me fill a box with awesome orchids and her knowledge of each is amazing. She has been doing this for so long, I hate to see them go, they are one of my favorites.

My husband was along for the fun and as the box holder. Most everything I picked up he put into the box, even asked if I needed a second box! Needless to say this was the best rainy day I've had in a long time.
