Do Phals like to stick out their lips more at nightime especially after Fert?

May be just my imagination but I do not remember seeing these lips like this until after I used the fert.

Do you mean you didn't notice the lips on these particular flowers, or on the previous time they bloomed?

I didn't notice that they were so pronounced or the change in color.
They had seemed to blend in before.
