Picked this up the other day, heard that they can a little fussy and unhappy sometimes. Either they are happy and easy to grow and flower or they sulk and slowly wither away. Hope this one is a happy one. Any one had success with growing and reflowering. It does have a light sweet fragrance.

I think that's looking more like Lynleigh Koopowitz, normally there are no striping in either of Ho Chi Minh parents

I agree with you, Ryan, in which case it should be easy to grow and flower. Also has beautiful foliage.

Nice plant. Thanks for the pic!

Thank you for ID, Ryan. Ho Chi Minh also has a red or purple lip, and Dumbo like ears. Miss labeled, I have seen a few Koopowitzs where I got this one. It does have marbled leaves with red/marroon speckled under side. Thanks agian.

It definitely is not Ho Chi Minh, it just isn't possible.

But rather than Lynleigh Koopowitz (malipoense x delenatii) as several have suggested, I think this is probably Lynleigh in Pink (malipoense x Ho Chi Minh).

Obviously they can be very similar, and there could be other hybrids that bring together malipoense with delenatii or vitenmaense in other combinations that could also look similar. But the slight yellow/green color in the dorsal and downswept position of the petals is more typical of Lynleigh in Pink.

Whichever it might be, I have to say I love it. Also it did remind me of malipoense, but I know almost nothing except the pictures I have seen of the various species, not their hybrids.
