Dendrobium trigonopus
I recently purchased a few orchids from a Thailand eBay seller. (Someone slap me!) The plants arrived at my house, in FL, in poor shape. The one I'm most concerned with is the Dendrobium trigonopus. I've been trying to research what it should be potted or mounted in/on and if it needs a winter rest, but it seems that there isn't much info, that I can find. I got to page 26 here in Dendrobiums OB but can't find aaaanything about it. The pb's are all yellow and there is only one with a couple leaves that are also turning yellow, roots look good though. Does anyone know anything about this orchid?

2 sermons, then soup.
It's illegal to import plants into the United States (and most other countries) without proper permits. Please! Do not do it again unless you follow the laws. Don't buy a living thing unless you've researched its requirements and know you can keep it happy. Orchid Board has a search function. Look up to the red menu bar. Click Search, then Advanced Search. In the box type trigonopus, then click the Search button. One of those threads contains a lot of information for you. |
They sent the phyto taped to the box and it was obviously opened for inspection. I definitely do not want to be caught up in anything illegal when I own two businesses and am a nurse. The board of nursing in the USA would take my license away for any federal penalties!
Thank you for the info(: I will absolutely try that search method. |
