Laelia purpurata v. carnea and x with Cattleya warneri

I was at a Sunset Valley Orchids open house last month, and saw this huge L. purpurata v. carnosa at the other end of the greenhouse. It was already in bloom, so I can't take any credit whatsoever for it, but want to show it off. I really like the color and the way the flowers are presented. I can imagine what it will look like with another couple of years' growth.

The other plant is from Cal Orchids, L. purpurata 'El Supremo' x C. warneri alba 'Showoff'. These two plants are recent additions, and are the tallest of all my orchids. They certainly get your attention.

Love the carnea! The pink is so delicate. and lovely form.

There gorgeous. I too think I am in love with the first one it's a stunner.

They are both gorgeous, not sure which one I like best. One is soo elegant and the other stunning.
