I heard of cutting your hair off to provide wigs for cancer patients .. I would never imagine cutting off my hair for the sake of chemical-free horticulture :hmm |
If I remember correctly, it's very high in nitrogen when it decomposes. Every time I shave my head, I dump it in my garden....been doin' it for years.

But doesn't hair take forever to decompose? The nitrogen part makes sense. Hair is just protein.
