New orchid tank setup

I'm new to orchids and but have been raising poison dart frogs for the past 3 years in my 36 gallon bow front aquarium I converted into a vivarium. I've lost interest in the frogs so I decided to sell them and keep the tank setup.

The tank was pretty much completely over grown so I decided to re home the plants and start over.

The orchids are all from Andy's. I don't know much about them but I am learning. I selected these varieties by using the search function on andys site and selecting vivarium.

I basically just picked the ones that had cool looking flowers. :)

I plan on mounting them to my background and just leaving the others in the pots. They all say they require the same lighting and watering so hopefully they do well.

They will be watered using a Exoterra Terra Monsoon misting system and lit by a 36" 4 bulb TH5HO lighting system.

The fans I have now are a little on the weak side so I plan on changing them out with larger ones soon. The tank is vented in the back so hopefully the humidity won't be too high for them.

What do you think? Will this setup work?

Having problems trying to post pictures.

You need to have 5 post before you can upload pictures. It sounds very cool and I can't wait to see the pictures. You can start buy doing an intro in that section.

Thanks for the suggestion. I had a very long elaborate post written a few days ago and it wouldn't let me post. Hopefully I'll get it figured out. I'm excited to share.

So I did find the thread that says you need to make 5 posts before posting pics. Only a few more to go.

They both look so nice. the frogs are cute little guys. Not sure I would ever want poison's frogs in my home, I'm tryin to get toxins out of my house. Hee, hee.

Hopefully soon you will be showing us some pretty blooms on your plants.

Actually, the frogs I had were captive bred and never contained poison.

On another note I ordered some tilanddia to add to the tank.

If this tank does well I might look into building a much larger enclosure.

I think I'm hooked.
