Discoloration on my Vanda

I've had this Vanda Fuchs Ruby since last November. Since January/February I've been growing it in a large glass vase with no media. Every couple of days filled with water and soaked for a 15 to 20 minutes before dumping out.

It has got some discoloration on one of the more recent leaves. At first (a week or two ago) it was just slightly light green and I thought it might be just some mechanical damage. But now I'm not so sure.

Vase sits in a west window and gets good light -- don't know if it is enough to bloom

Lots of great root growth since I went to vase culture.

It has grown a couple of new leaves since I got it and this is one of them.

Possibly incipient fungus such as Phyllosticta. If true, the elongated yellow patches will eventually turn black. supply calcium and if it shows other signs of fungus, use a fungicide such as Cleary's. Gradually increasing the light if you can.

Thank you for the advice. I started using MSU type fertilizer with calcium awhile ago but will be sure to continue.

It already gets all the light I can give it. I'm moving this weekend and maybe in my new place I can work out something better.

At what point would I need to remove the leaf? If any.
