Just as a side note -
"Phalaenopsis manni f. flava A.E. Christ.,f. nov. - ... This is the anthocyanin-free form of the species. Although informally designated in horticulture under a variety of names (such as varieties alba and concolor), a valid botanical name has not been published" This quote is taken from the book Phalaenopsis: A Monograph by Eric A. Christenson Here is a nice little site with some info on this species - Translated version of http://pagesperso-orange.fr/bernard.lagrelle/Mannii/Mannii.html |
