Paph. Druid Spring

Paph. Druid Spring (primulinum x druryi)

It's got two spikes this year. The flowers are nice and bright, and have the distinctive druryi sepal and petal stripes. For some reason I was thinking this clone was fragrant, but I haven't detected any scent this time around.

So pretty, and such a nice looking plant.

Beautiful! I just bought one of these earlier this year, having seen it in bloom in a greenhouse and been unable to stop thinking about it after returning home. Yours is lovely!

I have a massive Avalon druid. Similar looks. It grows well, 2 new leads.

This is such a long-lasting bloom! I had a second spike follow the first on mine, and so the plant was in bloom for something like six months. An elegant flower, too.

Do you grow it outdoors?

No. I grow my tropical plants indoors under lights. I do grow a small number of plants outside during the warmer months (April - October). And, I do sometimes take things outdoors to photograph them in natural lighting, since the camera flash and the artificial lights can make it tough to capture accurate colors.

This plant only recently finished up blooming within the past month or so, it definitely put on a good show.
