GPTM Starburst 'Parkside' AM/AOS

Good afternoon and happy Friday!!

I just received a gptm Starburst 'Parkside' AM/AOS that's in bud. What type of orchid is it and does anyone know what kind of care to give it? I haven't repotted it yet.

Thank you!!

I had to look Gptm up. (=Galeopetalum)
Appears to be a Zygopetalum intergeneric hybrid from what I have been able to find.

I would look up basic Zygopetalum culture, and hope that someone else can offer you better, more specific advice.

Good luck!

New to me also and what I found was Galleotia x Zygopetalum.

Thank you for your assistance. I had a hard time finding info on it. I will post a picture once it blooms.

I think you are all correct. I copied the zygo care from what I saw online in case anyone has the same plant.

You can look up the species on the Internet Orchid Species Photo Encyclopedia:

IOSPE

Many people in the US can't grow Zygopetalums because most need cool conditions. Hybridizers are crossing them with warm-growing relatives to try and get more adaptable hybrids.
