Looking for some basic info on my Fileroom NoID Orchid

I was given this Orchid when i first started my job 2 years ago. No tags or anything identifying the plant just being told verbally its an orchid and i can find care tips on line.

Naturally i first find the "Just add icecubes each week" then I find the "Icecubes might damage your plant".
Eventually just landing on that just running warm water over the roots and letting the planting medium soak while i clean up the offices at the end of the week works pretty darn well. Also added very very roughly ground coffee beans about a year ago, aka i broke up a few beans with my teeth and "added" it on-top before watering.

Its been really a great experience taking care of this plant and watching it turn from some stubby limp leaves into something so freakin pretty.

The broken leaf happened about six months ago fell from is window perch and almost snapped its largest leaf in two. Just propped it up with a found stake and it hasn't faded yet.

In closing I know NOTHING for sure about this plant,
Except that i want to know everything now.
Help me Orchid Board Community, you are my only hope.
PS. Soo new to this that i just learned the NoID lingo/predigest?

Definitely a Phalaenopsis hybrid.
From the coloring of the flowers I'd say that it probably has some Doritis in it.
Doritis' are used to impart a purplish coloring to the progeny's flowers.
Yeah, I know, Doritis is now considered to be Phalaenopsis, not an allied genera.
But, I still see them as having separate characteristics.

Welcome!

Great job reblooming the plant, and growing it so well. There is a lot of information in the Phalaenopsis hybrids forum, and also the Beginner forum.

It isn't possible to identify it more precisely than Phalaenopsis hybrid. There are hundreds of similar hybrids. Care instructions for standard Phalaenopsis hybrids are easily found, but I think it looks like you have been doing a great job.

Now, time to get another!
