Koyo (Kouyou)
I'm trying to come up with a comparative color, somewhere in the purple-magenta range.

Gosh! that's pretty!

In Neo lingo, they always describe Koyo as red or pink. I don't think I've every seen "purple" or "murasaki" used. I knew there were greater odds of it being this color but I was hoping for a more red hue. Gotta take your chances since they don't come up very often.
I'll have to look into some of the "beni" cultivars. |
I think plant seller hucksterism transcends all times and cultures.

Fantastic - I love the rich color

The flowers are amazing! Even if it isn't the color you hoped, it is quite lovely. :)

Is the fragrance on this variety that of your typical neo?

Stunning! I love that color.
