I bought my wife this orchid for valentines day and the store owner had lost the identification tag. Could you all please help my place it at least in a genus?

I think your wife is going to get stuck with just being able to call it a Cymbidium orchid.

You might be able to find something that resembles it by thumbing through the Santa Barbara Orchid estate site, they have an extensive cym collection.
