What kind of Orchid is this?

Hi all,
I've only ever owned Phals and I'm having trouble doing picture searches online for this one. Just want to make sure I'm caring for it properly. What kind is it and is it similar to taking care of a Phal?
Thank you!

It's an oncidium. Is it fragrant? Possibly like chocolate? Then likely a Sharry Baby.

Oncidium hybrid for sure, not convinced about Sharry Baby specifically, but that doesn't matter for general care, and that link covers it. If you have done well with Phals it shouldn't be too much of a challenge.

If you could provide a flower close-up and size and indication I might go along with Sharry Baby as a tentative ID (can really never be certain with a hybrid) or make another suggestion.

I don't think an un-named plant just based on a small picture, that we can say it is for sure a Sharry Baby. I can't even enlarge the flowers enough to see detail. Unless you have seen and smelt this particular plant. But even then, there are similar hybrids. It is definitely an Oncidium and requires general Oncidium care.

The Sherry baby is an extremely Common orchid hybrid you can find everywhere. So that fact alone makes me think it is a sherry baby.

I have 2 of these plants. The way the flowers are growing on the spike, color, and the leaves all say Sherry baby to me.

BUT since there is no name tag it is just a NOID Oncidium.

Sorry it's taken so long to get back to this thread, but I've been having issues with my forum account (as you can see the changed screen name - used to be Higgins23). I've taken another picture of my mystery orchid that should show the blooms a little better. Still thinking Sharry Baby?

Thanks again!

Thanks Optimist. By looking at the pic in my first post, do you think I should repot yet? If so, what's the best medium? It seems pretty crowded currently, but again, I'm only used to Phals.

Oncidiums must be in the air. I had mine ID and confirmed yesterday and today there is a new spike.
