Slc. Yellow(?) Warbler in bloom

I got this one in bloom- its first bloom- and the flowers were yellow. No surprise, right?

I'm downsizing and this one was on the 'to go' list -- I was waiting for its next bloom to sell it. It's been hard choosing which plants to let go of, but when they go and bloom orange, what chance do I have then?

For comparison, the last two pictures show first bloom in June 2015. Not only color, but shape is quite different this year.

Well, if you have to rehome it, you can give it to me. ;) What a fun plant! It can do double duty as a yellow AND an orange in your collection!

Very nice. I guess it would sell well. but then how could you sell it now!!

Well I guess it showed you who's boss. It's very pretty and looks like it's nice and small so it won't take up much room.

Interesting! The flowers are quite lovely both ways.

All of my orchids show me who's boss all the time. I have no illusions about that.
This one is quite small, described by the seller as a micro-mini. It's a cernua hybrid, and it's all of about 3.5 inches tall in bloom. Heck, that hardly even counts as a plant.

I think the change in shape and size and probably the color too, are an expression of it's appreciation of your good care. :)

Orchid gnomes swapped plants when you weren't looking. Or maybe it was your sister.

Same here  I thought it looked like it had cernua in it. I was going to ask what it had in it but I knew I would spell it wrong and I was to lazy to get up. I have a cernua but I haven't gotten to bloom yet. It is so small and I wonder why they don't use it more. But I seem to remember someone on here saying they don't cross well. I'd sure like to try a few. My cernua is maybe 1in. tall talk about hardly a plant. But it is so cute.

The orange blooming has a much fuller form than the yellow and for my personal taste the color is nicer, too. Looks like a keeper for sure.
