So here is my spotted plant. It's first blooming that I just got in Dec. This growth with the 2 blooms came out of a dried up sheath it was a big surprise. I really suck at taking pictures.

That is terrific! Orange and spots--the best of all possible worlds! How big is the plant? In your picture, it doesn't look huge. Must google...

I know, how could it get any better. I have wanted this one for a long time and then when I saw SVO had a spotted one I just had to get it. This plant at least for now is 6 1/2 inches from the bark to the top of the leaf. Its 10 inches if I measure the flower top. But some one on another thread about it said it can get 15 inches tall and I'm guessing that was leaf height. I'm kind of hoping it will not get that tall. I should e-mail Fred Clark and ask. I do have one that is aurantiaca x L. harpophylla that has shot up in the last year to 16 inches tall. But I don't know how tall a harpophylla is.

The flower is beautiful, I also like the shape of the plant.
Seems like a Jurassic Park creature
really beautiful.
