Project 2 - Plant Suggestion List
I will be adding suggestions as they come in to the original thread. It will make it much easier for us to
see what we're looking at, instead of bouncing around the entire thread. ************************************************** ********************************** OAK HILL GARDENS LIST: http://www.oakhillgardens.com/htm/or....php?prod=1231 (Sue, Justatypn) (Tikva) COELOGYNE marmorata (Fragrant) Info page: http://www.orchidspecies.com/coelmarmorata.htm This is a photo of one that is available at Oak Hill : http://www.sunsetvalleyorchids.com/c...barthiorum.jpg (male flowers) http://www.sunsetvalleyorchids.com/c...m_female_2.jpg (female flowers) This one is very interesting because to get male flowers, you keep it more shaded. Hopefully, Marleneann, our good friend in Australia will be able to acquire the plant we choose. The last entry is an area in which I am keeping all original suggestions AND the list of plants we can not use. There are many beautiful choices on our list but not all of them will be available in Canada. I, for one, would be happy to make a decision based upon availablity to all involved ;) Whaddya think? :hmm I just hope that with all these new choices, our US members make an effort at choosing from that list. This list will be updated as the suggestions come in. This is a "closed" thread...please add suggestions to the original project thread and I will enter them here. Thanks :) Once the poll is closed, each member who has made suggestions will have to choose their 3 first choices for discussion on which orchid we, as a group, will purchase... Happy Hunting :D |
