Dendrobium takahashii in spike?
 

I believe that my den is in spike. If this is the case I will scream for joy; this will be one of my first orchids that I got to bloom. Can some one tell me if I should remove it from the indoor greenhouse into room temp condition with low humidity when bud opens; will changing environment cause bud blast. Also, when done flowering, how should I care for it(less water?). Omg. I'm so excited. I'm usu asking for advice on saving my orchids from near death. Thanks

I personally wouldn't change with the routine you've established with it. I also wouldn't move it. But, I've had a terrible time with Dens and, so maybe I'm not the best one to chime in. If you do decide to move it, make sure that you haven't moved it to an area that has a cold draft, keep away from a/c vents, or doors opening to the cold outside.
As far as caring for it when it's done flowering, I would just follow the recommended watering and lighting regime.

I'm not familiar with this one - but, moving the plant from the higher humidity environment to much lower humidity could cause buds / flowers to drop - how much is the difference in humidity between the mini green house and your home?

Hopefully some other members are familiar with this species, and can be of better help.
