SLC with weird marks
 

Ok, i have this SLC which is showing some brown spots. Some spots are more like round spheres... Does anyone know what it is and if I should be worried?

People told me to cut the leaf, but is that really the only possible treatment?

Your first picture looks like raised bumps almost like a dark brown scale. Are there any scale on the back sides where those marks are on the other leaves? I have only ever seen a lighter colour scale myself. I don't know if I would cut all those leaves off, unless it is spreading quite quickly. I would treat with some hydrogen peroxide or rubbing alcohol or if you have a fungicide if you don't see any bugs on the back sides of leaves. And isolate and keep an eye on it. What are its growing conditions? Is it in good media and not having water left on leaves? Were these here as new growths or did they recently develop?? Can you give us some background info?

Have those marks appeared very recently? Are they growing in size? It appears there is a brown liquid on the surface of the discolored regions, especially evident in the first photo, is that correct?
These symptoms suggest a bacterial disease, in which case you will want to remove affected tissue and spray the cuts with Physan. It could also be fungal, but the oozing lesions are more characteristic of bacterial activity.

Ok, here goes the background:
1- the other side of the leaves do not present brown spots (the marks are only on one side - but i'll check it again)
2 - i don't think they are spreading, but i'll keep an eye on it
3 - i will treat with hydrogen peroxide without unpotting
4 - she's in active growth
5 - i couldn't find bugs on the medium or orchid
6 - that's the only orchid with those marks and she's now in quarantine
7 - she used to grow outdoors (i had a very wet spring - i live in the south of Brazil) with cool temps (between 1C3 and 20C, i'd say). I grow her hanged in a shady area of my balcony, but she's close to the light source. She does not get rain
8 - the pot has holes all around it and at the bottom, it's a plastic pot - i don't think water sits their too long if any is left
9 - i wait for it to dry before watering and i usually soak it
10 - i was using a spray bottle to fertilize, but i stopped to do it for all my plants, since i learnt foliar fertilization is not very effective
11 - the marks developed on old leaves (new leaves seem fine) - i think they stopped growing/spreading, but I'll observe it
12 - i think those marks appeared after repotting her a couple of months ago - medium is new: bark mixed with coconut chips, and clay pebbles in the bottom of the pot

I'll try the hydrogen peroxide treatment first. I will spray her with it and keep her in a windy area. Is there any harm if i soak the pot in hydrogen peroxide? Is it going to damage the roots?

To me, it looks the the buds/blooms dripped sap and opportunistic fungus popped up. Use rubbing alcohol and wipe the dark spots. They won't leave but any sticky substance will be removed and should stop.

No don't soak the roots in peroxide. It will oxidize the roots and will not help the plant at all.

I agree with Brooke. Sounds like a possible cause. Just observe and provide good culture as it seems you have been doing.

Brooke's suggestion is certainly a possibility. If the dark marks wipe off, then you'll know!

Most of the black marks won't wipe off but future black marks shouldn't pop up.
