C. percivaliana 'Summit' FCC/AOS Xmas in November!

C. percivaliana is known as the Christmas blooming orchid. Mine bloomed for the first time last year at the end of Dec. It's a bit early this year. It has a spike with one larger bloom that has been in bloom for 1 1/2 weeks and a 2nd spike with 2 buds that opened a few days ago.

Hi Monika,

It has a slight fragrance, but not one most people love. Not a sweet floral scent. To me it smells like olive oil.

Olive oil is not that bad...could be worse,could smell like a Bulbo :(
