orchid hoby software for Mac??

I have been unable to find any software, comparable with a Mac, that will allow me to catalogue and keep up with my orchids.I would like to keep track of spike dates, bloom dates, repotting, pest problems, etc. My collection is small (150), so I don't need a huge database but I have been unable to find any. Anyone know of anything?

I made my own on EXCEL for over a 1,000 plants. Not all that hard for the info you really need to have.

Have you tried Orchidwiz? They may still have a free trial. I find it invaluable.

I love OrchidWiz, but thought it was only good for a Windows platform.

OrchidWiz can be used on a Mac, but with a virtual windows environment like parallels. Similar to Cym Ladye I built an Access database that contains all my plant details: id#, alliance, cross name, parentage, repot date, flowering date, start and end, #days in bloom, vendor, vendor plant id (this is useful as it is a direct connection to the vendors breeding history) cost, size (sdlg, bs, compot, flask)
I also added drop down lists for some of the categories for easy selection.
It works great, can be sorted any way I need. Think about storing it on a cloud based storage so you can access it anywhere - helps avoid duplicate plant purchases - no one really needs 11 C. dowiana!

Forgot to add that you can also merge the list with an electronic label printer, which is very handy when you have a letter connection.

Hi. I have lurked for a while but haven't posted before so I don't think I can add links but you could see if Riccis Orchid management works on Mac (doesn't specify and I don't have one to try sorry). If you Google you should find it. I have been using it for a while and think it's great. It's a good alternative if you can't afford Orchid wiz (which is super great). Excel can be good too.
