Is this a Brassavola hybrid?

I bought this beauty at a farmer's market but it didn't have an ID. I think it might be a B. cucullata hybrid. The droopy stalk should be a giveaway to someone. If it is B cucullata, where does the flower shape, color and spots come from? (The flowers are 7.5 cm across, with a recurved lip. The spots are most distinct on the backs of the petals/sepals.)It has a faint sweet fragrance, but the flowers were all open when I got it. It's very strong, with 9 flowers on this stalk, and seven on another. There are two more stalks about to bloom, and two more that are just beginning to develop buds.
Thanks.

Welcome to the Orchid Board! Something this distinctive is probably known to somebody.

It is certainly a Brassavola hybrid, but probably not from Brassavola cucullata. Almost any Brassavola hybrid could hold a flower stalk in this positiion, but cucullata hybrids would probably have narrower droopy foliage and droopy petals as well. This is far more typical of B. nodosa hybrids, which are also far more common. Plus many B. nodosa hybrids have this kind of spotting from latent spotting that can sometimes be seen deep in the lip of B. nodosa, and the shape is quite typical. It is very similar to some clones of Bsn. (Bc.) Maikai, especially the widely distributed Maikai 'Louise'. The color comes from Gur. (C.) bowringiana in that hybrid. It might not be 'Louise' but it is almost certainly Bsn. Maikai or one of its hybrids.

Let me just say it's absolutely pretty!

Thanks for all the welcomes and especially Paphmadman's identification. I think it's definitely Bsn (BC) Maikai 'Louise'. Here's a shot of the whole plant. I think the droopy stems might be trained, not normal presentations.

This is a very rich board; glad I found it.

The cross is Brassovola nodosa x Guarianthe bowringiana (formerly Cattleya)
