Phragmipedium Will Chantry flavum
Phrag. Will Chantry (flavum) (klotzscheanum x besseae v. flavum)
This is a tiny phrag hybrid, one of the smallest I've seen so far. It's been a carefree grower, enjoying bright light, warm temperatures, and lots of water. Even though it's tiny, I keep it in my standard rockwool based mix, which is nice and chunky. I don't generally like flavum besseae hybrids, since I don't like the pastel / washed out colors, but I was in the market for a Will Chantry and this opportunity presented itself, so I thought I might as well see if it's going to be something special. I purchased this from Tom at Fox Valley Orchids. http://i.imgur.com/7QsM5S3l.jpg http://i.imgur.com/G36FfRVl.jpg http://i.imgur.com/UGGYbYWl.jpg http://i.imgur.com/prNijFMl.jpg |
