Stanhopea ignotes?

All I know is that its a Stanhopea and its apparently from Peru. It could very well be wild collected as I got it from a well traveled member of my orchid society.

There exists no description for a Stanhopea ignotes. Either the person who wrote the label had a basic knowledge of Latin and meant 'ignota', then it means 'unknown'. Usually we call wild collected unidentified plants 'species'.
Or somebody said 'insignis', and this was misunderstood and misspelled by the label writer.
Best is you flower your Stanhopea and then post some good pictures here, with front view and side view of the lip.

Thanks, I figured that would be the case, but was holding onto some hope that someone could recognize it as a misspelled species so I wouldn't have to wait almost a year to identify it.
