Michigan all state orchid society meeting
 

Just curious if anyone from here will be attending. The speaker is Chris Purver from the Eric Young orchid foundation in the UK

Well this event was very informative! Today's talk was a little bit about the foundation proper but it was primarily about their hybridizations. As a beginner the talk was a bit over my head, but I still picked up lots of good info. Sadly the orchids that we're going to be for sale from the Eric young foundation were stopped by customs :( however New Vision Orchids stepped up and brought in a beautiful selection of orchids for sale. It was fantastic to get out and meet more people who are involved in the hobby :)
