For the rest of my life, when I see the word Coelogyne I will think of Astrid's video.

Very nice, I haven't heard about it, but I found out that it is a recently described species! How big is the plant? Is it a rambler?

SilverShaded 10-05-2015 03:40 PM

The photo is not my plant but one of several we found in a botanic garden. Based on what i saw it looks like a free flowerer (spikes were at several stages of development) its a clump forming plant, rather than a rambler. From what i saw it looks like it would be great in cultivation but I don't know that its been available anywhere.

There's not many photos of it around either so that's why I posted.

It reminded me very much of barbata in flower colour, or maybe Lawrenceana in growth habit.
