What is the best way to see if an orchid is registered or not?

I have several orchids that list the seed/pollen parents, but not the registered name. Whenever I try to search for the name on Google, sometimes it comes up and sometimes it doesn't. Even searching within the RHS is a frustrating endeavor.

Is there anything else besides orchid programs like OrchidWiz? Or is there some sort of trial version of an orchid program somewhere?

I have a C. Brabantiae x Schom. tibicinis that I wanted to know whether or not it was registered.

:thankyou

I need to start adding click bait titles like FREE ORCHIDS or something. My posts always get ignored or like one person responds lmao.

I saw the post and I thought it was a great question but I can't answer it. I hope as well that someone answers this question.

Go directly to the source, the International Orchid Register at the Royal Horticultural Society (UK). The website has search functions to find parents of a cross (if it is a registered cross) and to find the name of a registered cross based on the parents. They use the word grex instead of cross. You are better off searching on a short but unique part of the name rather than the whole name. It will give all partial matches of what you enter, but if you have 1 character wrong it won't match anything. If you search for the name of the cross and don't find it, make sure to do the search with the parents reversed since they only recognize the original way the cross was registered. In most cases, leave the genus name out. Again, it won't match anything that isn't exactly right.

Ok I will keep trying and see if I get any hits. Admittedly I was only entering the name once because I was confident I had done it right the first time. Now I'm second guessing.

Thanks for your help!!!
