Large flowered Dracula, it is not one of the easiest to grow in my conditions. This year this is the third flower on two floral stems. As the flowers come in succession, there is one more forming on the other stem.

Honestly, I did not smell anything on this flower, Tindo. But, Draculas are known to attract flies and you know, flies like things that stink. Flies probably detect some odor on this flower.

I'm considering purchasing this plant, but it is a little on the big side. Anything similar but smaller?

The plant itself is not much higher than 14-15 cm and to my eyes can be considered a mini plant! So, maybe you can find a little room for it!!!

Can you comment on the temperature ranges it experiences? I've been told they will not do well over 70-degrees F.
