Zygopetalum leafs turning brown

Hi friends

I m having problems with my zygopetalums. I have 2 plants and the bulbs seems healthy. The problem is with the leafs. New growings are developing from the base of the bulbs but after some time leafs turn to brown from inside out.
I really cannot understand what is the problem. Is it bug or fugus or wrong watering /temperatur . The very same problem I have with my colmanara plant

Can anyone help me?
Thank you

Welcome to OrchidBoard :) How are the roots on the plants? Could be a root problem. Pictures will help. After a few more posts you can put pictures on here.

Thank you very much

After how many posts can I upload pics?

I believe that roots are good. I haven't notice any damage. Bulbs seems healthy and the plants after some time grow new leaves. First I thought it was water on the leaves but I m too careful in watering

I believe it is 5 posts. You could make some comments a few orchid pictures to get to 5 posts. Pictures are helpful. I don't grow zygos or colmanaras but I am sure someone else on here does.

I hope to be clear...
Brown leaves were green a couples weeks ago of both the plants
As you can see there is a new growing in the second plant as many until now but all turned to brown after a while

I haven't grown these but to me they look like they got too much water or not enough water... or water with a lot of dissolved salts... or they got too hot.

Do the pots have holes in the bottom? And it is very important to examine the roots as wintergirl suggested above.

From the photos the media looks pretty damp, maybe the roots got rotted? I would look at your roots, probably need a re-pot.

When you say you "believe" the roots are good, is that because you've checked them? If not then do check them. Do you have the actual names of these plants? I have a number of Zygo hybrids and often older bulbs lose their leaves but I do have one that has lost all leaves except for the two newest growths. This plant is a tricky one for me and in my case I have under watered it. What are your watering habits?

The first plant I bought, the one in the clay pot, is Zygopetalum Bärbel Höhn

The other plant is Zygopetalum Rhein Harlekin 'Select'

I usually water all my plants once a week and fertalize them once a month

I said that I believe the roots are good because new growwings turning brown from the inside out from the beggining. I reppot the first plant last November and roots was fine but the new growings turned brown after some time grown new ones. The second plant (in the purple potcase) I bought it last March and I didn't repot it because it had flowers
