Introducing myself/First Time On Orchid Board Forum

:hello my name is Benjamin Evans and I am a novice orchid grower who has joined Orchid Board Orchid Community for social engagement with other orchid growers and most of all learn how to grow orchids better, I started getting interested in orchids a couple years ago when I had some family friends over and I was telling them about Lillies and one of them replied they got some at home, so one went home and bought some plants back, but they were not Lillies but cymbidium orchids lol (laugh out loud), so I put them in the patio area where soon enough they sent up stalks and I became very interested right then in orchid growing and that how my orchid interest started, eventually I started going to orchid shows and buying orchids, but I reached crisis point and didn't actively grow and flower orchids for a while because I was unwell and was not very confident with orchids, I did the odd fertilizing and maintenance here and there, but in the last year or two I joined a orchid club and became confident again even I still had my ups and downs, I am not a good enough orchid grower yet, but that's ok I can get better be better and etc etc, I had an orchid called Stanhopea Tigrina 'Perryman' flower this year for me and I loved it even though the perfume was completely different from another Stanhopea I saw years ago at a Botanical garden conservatory. I am sure in time you will get to know me better and I will get to know you better :) I can answer any questions you might have about me and my orchids :)

I got Stanhopea. Tigrina 'Perryman' which smells like candy and I got a young Stanhopea which is called Oculata a Gold Form version of it but it stills need to be potted, any potting up recipes I can put in a basket and have the stanhopea put in? The recipe must cater for a dry under cover area in winter, must cater for a cool then warm spring weather, cater for very hot summer weather and finally cater for cool autumn weather? oh and the other Stanhopea Orchid I got is flowering size and is in a basket that came with the plant and a potting medium (don't know the medium recipe exact potting ingredients ratios) I am guessing Perlite and Mica, but I think the next potted up stanhopea basket should have a moisture retentive ingredient, sorry for any grammar, repeated words and mistakes lol :) I am still new to this forum. :)
