This guys new grows got some redish rot, but the older bulbs are still good, will it come out again?
Oh yes, I've seen these growing in the bush up here in Zimbabwe. Ours are not as pink in the lip as varieties found in north and west Africa. But I have always seen it growing in a sandy type of soils here. So I would suggest that you put the back bulbs in sand and see if you can get them to shoot. I'm sure they shoot off from back eyes. Good luck.

Only pure sand or mixed with normal soil?
I would have chosen pure sand until the first roots are full developed, then pot it up into a mix.
I made myself a recipe, 2 parts sand, 2 parts potting soil and 1 part bark. Hope that works

good luck, tell us if you have any luck reviving the back bulbs.
Will do!
