in the bag?

I read a few threats ( lots so far ) and time and again I read about when plants do poorly to bag it ... so what exactky is behind this....
I have a phal doing poorly, very little roots below surface. Bugs got in. Hope they are gone.
help:hmm

Hello Pedecamera, by pacing it in the closed environment of a bag, It increases the humidity, this really helps a stressed plant recover faster, but it need not be sealed tight it needs to make the carbon dioxide / oxygen exchange

thanks, bag is going over ....
is there anything I need to be careful with or really should do during the recovery process...how long does this normally take?

I have a phal right now that I'm having to do this with, I keep it just moist, not too wet, keep it in bright light, and wait for new roots to grow, this time of year it will probably respond pretty quickly, but, will probably seem like forever, when they get a couple of inches long repot.
