Node on phalaenopsis 'broken'

Hi,

I have a phalaenopsis and it is currently in bloom. I discovered one of the nodes, 3rd down from the last flower is 'broken'. I'm attaching pictures. Will this node recover? What was it mean to be? Another flower bud?

Here is another picture. It looks intact but it's actually broken :(

It's ok. It might not recover. Broken node doesnt do much damage. These nodes will usually send out a new flower spike if u cut it after bloom half an inche above the top node.

Argh. So sad. It looked promising but was broken :(

So after bloom, I cut below this damage node or above it? Cos the top 2 looked like the flower bud fell off.

Cut below the broken one
