Went into the greenhouse and did a double take when I saw this.

Looks like a grasshopper or bug or something :p

Praying mantis !! The ultimate bug destroyer. Cool !!

I just love seeing these in the garden, mantises kill a lot of bugs.

I make it a point to collect an egg case over the winter to relocate to my property.

Preying mantis is my favorite all time insect. have you seen the orchid/flower mantis? they are white/pink/purple, and hide in orchids. Lovely.
