I got this baby as a gift

Anyone can give an idea of how big this needs to get before it's blooming size?

I have other broughtonias so I'm giving this similar care except for lighting I have her in bright shade for now (my other broughtonias get full afternoon sun and are super happy.

Doesn't seem to be very popular. I'll probably go to the grower next weekend and report back here with the info.

hey, this species of broughtonia does best mounted, especially on tree fern. Try not to water this plant alot try to let it dry out before watering. It likes bright light but since its a seedling try to slowly acclimatize it to bright sunlight, but it looks like its from claude hamilton is should be acclimatized already. hope this helps :)

That's how I've always heard to grow them.

Yup all of mine. Broughtonias love the sun.
