Watering and fertilizing ?

I am new here ,also new to catasetinae:biggrin:

My question is :when do I start watering new growth of

SMALL size bulbs ? ( those who will not reach the recommended 4" or more).

Sorry, I don't grow these, but just wanted to say :welcomeflowers: :)

Its the root length that matters. Water when the roots are 2-3 inches long.
