Thought you'd all love this one from the icebox of Michigan! Where's the emoticon for shivering?

My weather alarm just informed me that we're in a Tornado Watch!

I'll take snow and cold any day over tornados. Best of luck to you, keep safe.

cb977 01-19-2008 03:57 PM

Me too

Thanks, M :)

Aw shucks! Now I am so embarrased at complaining about the cold! All I have to do is shovell. Tornadoes are not fun (we get 'em up here occasionally). Stay safe and by all means get over to Miami. We're counting on the photos! :)

I didn't get hit, but someone 5 houses down the road got hit bad. They have their house, but all 3 of their barns got hit, 2 of them gone. The other one got hit but is still standing. I even heard that one. It sounded like thunder that never stopped.

cb977 01-19-2008 08:01 PM

puddin, where are you?

We had a doozie of a storm go through here earlier! :yikes:

A tornado touched down in New Port Ritchey which is just south of me and another touched down in Weeki Wachee...about 3 miles from me! :faint:

I'll take SNOW anyday!!!

Storm has gone through, moved through at 55 mph but the sky is still looking funky and the watch is in effect till 10pm...so far :crossfing

We did the tornado shuffle here a few years ago

and it scared me pretty well. I had to go out at 4 a.m. this morning and turn the heaters up in the greenhouse as it was 4 degrees. I don't like either one of them, personally. :hello

cb977 01-19-2008 08:50 PM

4!!!!! :faint:
