PAPH GROWING MEDIA?
 

Hi everyone,

I have a Paph Dreaming Mele. The tag says Dreaming Green x Mele Pops. I was wondering if anyone has been growing paphs in straight Hrdroten or leca? I don't mean as in S/H. I have one already in S/H that is growing but didn't want to do that with this one.

Also does anyone know what species or hybrids are in this plant?

It's a complex paph so it could have a bit of everything in it.

Perhaps someone with Orchid wiz can tell you exactly what's in it.
You can grow it in in straight leca but will have to water every day or two.

Bill, Thanks for the link. I bought this past bloom for $10.00 at our local nursery. Now I see what the flower will look like.

Straight LECA would be fine, but you'd need to water more frequently, that's all.
