Hi everybody, I got some orchids but they came after 4week in terrible conditions!! I'm just wondering if there's any hope at all..I now put them in some bark.
They are Oncidium Bulbophyllum medusae Phal Thank you so much for any opinion you can give! |
Oh man...those are bad. I think there's hope for the oncidium, but the other two look beyond saving. Maybe I'm wrong, but I guess wait for others to chime in.

What happened to them for the 4 weeks? The phal has green roots so may be able to grow a keiki. The onc also looks like it has green on 2 of the bulbs. Both of those maybe... the bulbo looks awful.

Yea I do agree they look terrible!
I got them shipped, it took long time to get here. I was on a spree and clearly wasn't thinking about the consequences! Thank you! |

Out of sheer curiosity: where did you order them from?
Just so I know if there's a European trader I ought to avoid. If you don't want to write in public, please IM me |
I feel for you. I bought a plant that was stuck in a warehouse during a freak winter ice storm in another state. The plant was frozen solid and unsalvageable. He plant was huge and I really loved it. (Later I got a smaller version from the same grower and it is growing well.)
I feel that it is not the growers fault that a plant death happened in transit. Its almost a perfect storm of incedents and accidents and no one is really to blame. |
