Hello! New member from dreary SW Pennsylvania

Hello everyone! I'm new here and just wanted to introduce myself and tell you a little bit about me. My name is Regina and I've been a nature lover from the get-go. I met and fell in love with orchids in the mid-80's and it's all over for me now! I started out with Phalaenopsis from the big box stores and have "graduated" to species orchids. I can't really say I have a favorite anything and this applies to plants as well. I have just began a love affair with Coelogynes and am interested in Cyrtopodium. But, as you all know, any orchid that I think I can grow successfully, I will try to find. I hope to be able to spend a lot of time on here-not too much, but enough to learn and share. My other hobbies are tropical fish (I have 80 fish tanks of varying sizes), gardening, reading, and counted cross-stitch. I'm excited to be a part of this wonderful community! Thank you all for your experiences and for sharing them! Cheers! Regina

Hello and welcome. Wow 80 fish tanks, I use to have a couple of them and I couldn't keep up with them. There long gone.

Yep, the fish tanks are time consuming! But, their "old" water makes really good plant food :)
