Colorado Orchid Folks??
 

Let me start of by saying, I hope I'm posting this in the correct section.
Does anyone live in Colorado? Preferably the Denver area? I would like to meet up and learn more from orchid people pros, I'm still a newbie but I'm timid and totally scared to go to the Colorado Orchid Society meetings, plus they usually don't match up with my work schedule. :biggrin:
Anyways, it would be great to meet some new friends!

My orchid club loves new members! Most people like to share their knowledge ( its kind of like a nice way to brag about how much you know). It was such a valuable experience for me to join as a newbie. Please don't feel intimidated and go whenever your schedule permits.

I will keep watching this thread Court_b so I can't find someone to go with too :) I am definitely going to the next orchid show they will have in Denver, hope to see you there. I would have to figure when that is.

Weederwoman-Thanks for the advice. I looked at Denver's Orchid Society website last night, they haven't posted upcoming dates yet but I'm going to force myself to go this year!

Is anyone going to the orchid show on March 14 in Denver? I am officially going! It was almost a no go with issues at work but I finally got that mess figured out :) I am so happy, this will be my first show. Hope to see some of you there!

I didnt know that there was an orchid show on March 14th! Where is it? I'd love to go! I think I should be able to make it! Sorry for the late reply, my head has been stuck in my nursing books!

It's going to be at the Tagawa Garden Center 7711 S. Parker Rd Centennial CO March 14-15 I think the times are 10-5.

Soo Court did you go? I went and had the time of my life! First show ever and it was amazing. They had tons of orchids,African violets, and other varieties of plants. I got myself a few on my wish list and I will make a new post for those 😆 I am so incredibly happy with my orchid/African Violet haul.
