Yellowing/rusty spots on my oncidium new shoots
3 Attachment(s)
Hi everyone, my oncidium sharry baby 'velvet maroon' is developing two new shoots, but I started to notice these yellowing/ rusty spots on the new leaves. I have rubbed hydrogen peroxide and tea tree oil on the spots (I got crazily creative :0 ), now the yellowing/rotten spots seem to stopped spreading, but the rest of the leaves are still getting tons of these small white spots..is this orchid infected with a virus? what can I do now? Thank you very much!:bowing

yellowed areas - Looks like maybe some water got trapped in the new growth (maybe during cooler temps ?), and the leaves may have rotted a bit in those areas - do they feel soft or sunken?
the barely visible white dots - I can't see them, sorry ... Hopefully someone else has an idea |

It happens - it's possible the new growth may still be ok, outside of the damaged areas, but if not, the plant will put out new growth.
