Orchids at Aldi's?
 

Does anyone who shops at Aldi remember seeing orchids there? I think I once heard someone say they had them but I could be wrong.

Yep, I have seen them there and at Sam's Club. Selection was pathetic and they looked worse for wear at both places. Might be worth a phone call to ask when they receive shipments/ or if they discount older ones....

Where they just Phals?

yep, only phals. That was in the Naperville IL area. Even our TJs doesn't have anything but phals and a den or 2. Come to think of it nor do our Lowe's, HD or Menards.

Our Lowe's and Home Depot only have Phals.

The closest Trader Joe's is 1.5 hrs away.... I'd go to check out the orchids and get my hands on some Mochi Ice Cream! They don't sell it up here... Vanilla and Strawberry are the best!

Are you close to Hausermanns?

Where do you live? My sister lives in Barrington, Lake County.

Nate's is about 5 miles South and Hausermann's 20 miles East. Visiting a greenhouse is perfect, uplifting in Feb !

I actually bought one at Aldi. One of the best looking Phals I had seen in a big box store. Very healthy and very pretty and blooming like crazy again right now.

The Aldi ad comes out on Sat. and the sale starts Wed. I've bought 2 Phals there, very pretty and healthy. I got there on a Wed., before to many people had a chance to dig around in them, breaking spikes etc. They sell for $9.99

I have one from there, from when they got them for Valentine's Day. Absolutely impressive root system; the best I've ever seen on a Phal.
