grammatophyllum scriptum new shoots rotting
 

I have been struggling to keep my grammatophyllum scriptum alive this year. It dropped all of its leaves and the new growths all started off well then looked like they were rotting off. Any ideas?

Usually when I get new growth rotting, it's from water trapped in them during cool temps ...
