Wne should I repot my Doritaenopis Orchad?

Hi, I am brand new to the group. I have a gorgeous 1 1/2year old Doritaenopis Orchad which is my first orchad to ever live! It came with one flower stem/spike and had two this year that were multi branched and full of flowers. Now I have FIVE more spikes growing and my husband says I need to repot. How do I know if that's true? It is doing incredibly so I feel like I should just let it be???

:welcomeflowers:

What type of media is it potted in? Dried moss? Bark chips?

Generally, store bought orchids should be repotted after they have finished blooming - you don't know how old the potting media is, and most orchids will do better if the media is not old and broken down.
Dried moss breaks down fairly quickly.

Thank you so much, Sonya! Should I increase the pot size or keep it small?

Use the smallest pot that you can fit the roots into without forcing the issue

I am really surprised by that so I am happy that you got back with me :-)
