I flasked these seeds that i bought from ebay about 3 or 4 weeks ago. I'm new to flasking so i was wondering how they were looking. The pictures were taken with a macro lens.

I have no clue, sorry - hopefully some who does have a clue will respond ;)

I mostly was just wondering if these were protocorms. But so far i think they are.

Update on the flasks
 

They are looking pretty good. Greener and bigger by the day.

How are you taking such clear pictures of your flasks? Are you taking them through the lid, facing down? My lids are not see through. =( Your pictures look great. Thanks for sharing. :)

Also, how old are the flasks in those pictures?

The % of germination looks incredible! I flasked ~500 seeds into two flasks and I only have 3 protocorms in one jar and 5 protocorms in the other lol. Such poor germination rate. Perhaps my bleach is too strong and is killing the seeds?

How long do you sterilize and what % bleach or solution do you use? I am always looking for ways to improve my technique. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks! :)

Thanks. I use small polypropylene tupperware from target for my mother flasks. They have clear lids and only cost 2 bucks for 8 of them. And i use a nikon dslr with a macro lens to get the photos.

The flasks are about a month old now and instead of bleach i used peroxide and only did 2 rinses after.

What % H2O2? I sterlized with 5% Hydrogen peroxide last time I flasked (this past weekend), but that was after a bleach sterlization for 10 mins lol (So far no contamination, but its only been 3 days). How long did you let your seeds sit with the hydrogen peroxide?

How many flasks did you flask and have you had any contamination yet?
